Baha’i Faith Light of Unity Festival

Baha'i Faith Unity Festival

In October, members of the Baha’i Faith, both locally in Albuquerque and around the world, will celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Baha’u’llah, the Founder of the Baha’i Faith. They will also celebrate the birthdate of His Forerunner, The Bab.

Throughout history, God has sent Divine Educators to spiritually renew humankind and guide the advancement of civilization. Bahá’u’lláh taught that a just and peaceful global society is now possible. These festivities, involving people of diverse backgrounds, demonstrate a key message of Baha’u’llah’s life and teachings: that a special time has arrived for the entire human race to gradually move to a stage of unity, of maturity and harmony.  Baha’u’llah declares:  “So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth.”
